Ridgewood NJ, in a thrilling show of endurance and teamwork, Ridgewood High School’s cross-country team swept the board at the Lou Molino Memorial Meet of Champions at Darlington Park in Mahwah. Facing strong winds, Ridgewood runners brought home gold in all four races: varsity boys, varsity girls, freshman boys, and freshman girls!
Top Individual Finishers for Ridgewood:
- Luke Pash – Varsity Boys Champion
- Natalie Knowles – Varsity Girls, 2nd Place
- Jett Lincoln – Varsity Boys, 3rd Place
- Hunter Witham – Freshman Girls Champion
- Jack Barsa – Freshman Boys, 3rd Place
On the varsity front, Luke Pash led the charge, clinching first place in the boys’ race with a remarkable time of 15:29. Pash’s impressive run helped Ridgewood secure the boys’ team title with just 25 points. Teammate Jett Lincoln added to the team’s success, finishing in third place with a time of 16:00. Natalie Knowles represented Ridgewood’s varsity girls with a strong second-place finish.
The team’s success extended across the divisions, with freshman stars Hunter Witham and Jack Barsa also placing high, ensuring Ridgewood’s continued dominance across all races.
In the overall team standings, Don Bosco Prep took second place with 65 points, followed by Hackensack (122), Indian Hills (148), and Bergen Catholic (153).
