The Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands seeks your help!
We are embarking on a project to plant 6,000 daffodil bulbs in town. In order for this project to succeed we need to recruit individuals who will help us plant. Our planting day is Sunday, Oct. 20, rain or shine, so please mark your calendars!
This October community project will involve-the planting of thousands of daffodil bulbs throughout town. Our goal is to make this an annual tradition. The project will culminate in April with a Daffodil Festival; this will be an opportunity to celebrate, with the community, the success of this project and to showcase some of the other accomplishments of the CRPL’s initial year.
In order for this project to succeed, we need your help! We need to recruit individuals, families and members of community groups to come and plant with us. We will be approaching schools, businesses and organizations. We would like to encourage families to make this a project, (bulbs could be planted in memory/honor of family members and/or friends).
The CRPL and Project Pride will donate 6,000 daffodil bulbs to the community. Contributions will ensure the continuation of this project next year.
We would like to plant in the following areas:
Ridgewood schools
Main streets leading in and out of town
Entrances to park areas
Bare spaces in the downtown area
