Ridgewood NJ, the RHS Curricular Band Program had a really special trip into NYC this past Wednesday May 25th . All 3 curricular bands performed on the deck of the USS Intrepid from 10:30-11:30 , which also happened to be day 1 of fleet week in NYC !

The RHS Bands joined Fleet Week in New York City . Fleet Week is an annual event celebrated with multiple ships making port in New York City and more than 2,000 members of the sea services visit the five boroughs between is May 25 and May 31. The week-long event will includes public ship visitations, a variety of military demonstrations and a mix of new or recuing events and now the the Ridgewood High School bands.
After their performances, the band enjoyed an entertaining lunch at Ellen’s Stardust Diner in Times Square.
