Ridgewood High School Football Kicks off its Season at Historic Hinchliffe Stadium vs Hackensack

Ridgewood NJ, this weekend, Saturday, September 2nd is the Ridgewood Football Season Opener! We would love to see our fans in the stands at the  historic Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson .Hinchliffe Stadium, a national historic landmark, is located within the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park . Built in the early 1930s, Hinchliffe Stadium, one of the last remaining Negro League ballparks and a later site for high school sports.

Hackensack vs. Ridgewood

Due to the Labor Day Weekend Festival the following streets will be closed near Hinchliffe Stadium: Wayne Ave (Bridge), McBride Ave, Market Street between Spruce and Mill Street.Game attendees are encouraged to take the Squirrelwood Road exits off of Route 80 East and West. If you’re traveling through the city of Paterson, we encourage you to take West Broadway to Totowa Ave.

The Parking Authority parking deck is $10 and John F. Kennedy High School parking lot will be FREE. Please note that for security purposes, everyone will be checked with a wand.
