Thank you for your interest in the Rensselaer Medal Program. The selection period for the Class of 2013 has started. If you are a participating Medal school you will be mailed the information to select a student from the Class of 2013, in March, 2012.
Each participating high school will be asked to select one member of the junior class to be honored with the Rensselaer Medal Award. This $15,000 per year merit scholarship is guaranteed for four years (five years for the B. Arch program) for each medalist who applies, is accepted, and chooses to enroll at Rensselaer. The responsibility for selecting the Rensselaer Medalist belongs to faculty and college advising staff within the secondary school.
Once the selection is received at Rensselaer, an award certificate is mailed to the school for presentation at a school assembly. If the student applies and enrolls, the official Rensselaer Medal will be presented during honors convocation in the fall of the first year at Rensselaer.
