Ridgewood, NJ – During last night’s Village Council Meeting, Ridgewood resident and employee Jason Goodrich was recognized with a Certificate of Heroism for his extraordinary courage and quick thinking during a workplace emergency at the Village Recycling Center.

The incident occurred when a co-worker’s hand became trapped and severely injured in the blade of a packer truck. Acting without hesitation, Goodrich quickly intervened, helping to free his colleague and prevent further trauma — a response that officials say may have prevented the loss of a limb.

Village leaders praised Goodrich’s decisive action, noting that his bravery in a moment of crisis reflects the highest ideals of service and community spirit. His actions stand as a testament to the importance of remaining calm under pressure and looking out for the safety of others.

  1. Is it me or does Frank wear the same outfit every Council meeting…?

    1. Do The Bee Man and The Bond King own ties?

      Disrespectful to the office.

  2. Pee Wee rambling on last night with more ridiculous red herrings…the grease practically oozes of off him every time he opens his mouth.

How many times did he mention “a convenience store” coming to the site?

    WTF was he talking about?

Shades of The Bond King’s fantasy gas station at Schedler.

    So dirty.

  3. Are these employees full-time, can someone tell the young kid take off his hat in a courtroom thank you

    1. Was the courtroom offended? Apparently the only person he offended was you, and you weren’t there, so …

  4. This guy was truly a hero saving his coworker, but please remember that all of these proclamations, and all of this hero awards, are a bunch of baloney, because it was only last year when veggianos. Was going to furlough these very same people, because the village didn’t have any money. Anybody remember that? How are they gonna pay for food for those family members?Hat wearing or not. So the moral to the story here, kids is don’t believe everything you do. We’ll hear and see from this mayor and those bozo council members, they are all pieces of garbage that you could throw away in those designer garbage cans. But it is people like this true hero who went out of his way to save The life and limb of his coworkers, these are the kinds of people we should be associating with and supporting not the poser village council elitists, who have plenty of money and don’t understand the real logistics of how to run the village properly

  5. I was there I was standing in the back, yes the guy did great amazing job in saving his fellow worker from getting injured. The guy deserves a bonus at least something. Can you imagine if that employee lost his limb he would be on disability for the rest of his life, they would be lawsuits, Medical bills, pain, and suffering, trauma, so you save the villager tremendous amount of money and the insurance company too. So yes, he deserves a big bonus. Because the mayor council love when people save the town money. Can you imagine if that was a lawsuit? Holy moly what’s that worth .And of course the village would put it back in the village and say that they were operating equipment, incorrectly, right, right? I wouldn’t trust any of these management they are all bull shit story tellers. Oh yes

  6. When your pants legs pool visibly around your ankles, it means you had to buy a larger size to accommodate your waist and neglected to have the hems raised accordingly.

  7. I seen that guy, I know. He needs a professional Taylor.

  8. it’s the council chambers, not a court room. and it’s not in session.
If you are looking for decorum in the council chambers you won’t find it.
    that disappeared years ago.
And baseball caps are the least of our worries in this day and age.
