Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Police are currently investigating a motor vehicle accident resulting in serious injury that took place at the intersection of Linwood Avenue and North Maple Avenue on Tuesday evening, 10/22. Both vehicles involved in the crash were towed from the scene. One (1) of the vehicles involved was impounded. The ongoing investigation may result in criminal charges.
This is a very dangerous intersection that might need some technology including some priority left turn green arrows duration of 10 to 15 seconds( LEFT) onto Maple Avenue towards Ho Ho Kus direction
The autos right on red from the Library side of MAPLE should be eliminated toward Valley side of town -which might help the pedestrians crossing in the dark winters.
It’s a raceway down to the Valley/route 17 side of ridgewood in the
mornings. the Intersectionon Maple has a very uneven transition road pavement surface as you drive up across the corner towards the train side of town
