Ridgewood principal: Student brings replica gun to school

Officials at George Washington Middle School in Ridgewood discovered on Tuesday morning that a student came to school with a replica firearm.
The replica gun shoots plastic pellets, and is “designed to be non-lethal but they can look realistic,” according to a letter from GWMS Principal Katie Kashmanian sent to parents on Tuesday.
