Impossible. I’ve read on the blog that they are horrible and doing a disservice to our kids.
I think it is also important to note when you look at the detail of this company’s rankings you will see the only categories not given top ratings were 1- Resources and Facilities “B+” 2- Diversity “B-”
These two things are not really fair to pull Ridgewood down compared to say Princeton, when I think many if not all Ridgewood parents feel that Academics, Teachers and College Prep (all rated “A+”) are the more relevant factors or at least most important. It is kind of unfair to pull us down in ranks on things we cannot change. We can’t make more free space – there are no farms left in Ridgewood to buy to add facilities on and we can’t force diversity as it is something that just is what it is from our population living here.

They used to be ranked nationally. Now not even top ten in NJ if you exclude selective schools, and SAT scores aren’t top twenty either. All pretty poor for the $110mn annual budget.
But they have a nice big Tradition of Excellence sign, a beautiful graduation ceremony, and yes, all the realtors tell the new home buyers that Ridgewood is all about the fantastic schools. Gasp! Are you telling me that we’ve all been hoodwinked and the schools are average, at best?
The new turf at Seavers Stadium looks great !
Education Expenses:
Instruction 60%
Support Services 38%
Other 2%

Niche is useless and non scientific.
Says an apologist for the Ridgewood BIE and REA.
in the state for SAT
Excluding vocational / magnet schools RHS is #2 in Bergen County and #9 in the state
Norther Highlands #3 Bergen and #10 state
Glen Rock is #5 Bergen # 23 state
I know you want to hate on the school people but the kids and families of Ridgewood create a great school with great results.

Used to be top ten in the country, but keep apologizing and sticking with your “Tradition of Excellence” mantra… the current REA members can only claim this if they, too, drive excellence. You can just rest on past laurels…
Hoodwinked?
How about you got fucked by the never ending line of Ridgewood Betty’s playing Realtor with their standard line of how great the schools are thus forwarding the well laid fallacy and justification for said 110k budget. You know what’s even funnier?
Your paying it!
Hoodwinked again !
