Demarest NJ, the Ridgewood Maroons captured the 61st Bergen County Tournament championship . Ninth-seeded Ridgewood, took on 10th-seeded St. Joseph of Montvale in the final. Ridgewood scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning en route to a 10-7 comeback victory in front of a packed crowd in Demarest. The Maroons captured their first Bergen County Tournament title , making their first appearance since losing to St. Joseph in 1986.
This spring the Ridgewood boys won the County’s large school track meet and overall County titles in Lacrosse and Baseball.
