Ridgewood NJ, a three judge appellate court panel has affirmed the 2017 ruling in favor of the three municipalities in their suit against Ridgewood Water for excessive rate hikes during the 2010 -2012 time period .
It is however very unclear if rate payers will receive any relief . The appellate court confirmed the factual findings made by the original judge Perez-Friscia stating they were supported by substantial credible evidence.
The lawsuit pitted ,Glen Rock ,Wyckoff and Midland Park Customers against Ridgewood Water and at times the Village of Ridgewood often leading to acrimonious and heated debate on the water rate issue , and the nature of Ridgewood Water to the Village of Ridgewood.
The winners were………The Lawyers.
That’s so right. These towns are getting zip’o . Especially Midlandpark bigmouth from the past. We all know who.
This is all dirty business. The bottom line is the Ridgewood water company is a utility. Everyone that works with the Ridgewood water company works for the utility company. They are not village employees they are utility water workers. My question is from our investigation why is the director of water In charge of the sanitation and recycling department. So what you’re saying is when sanitation and recycling are short in employees On a daily basis they can utilize water utility workers correct. Because they all fall under one. For what is the answer. Can someone clarify this please Or do we have another cluster to deal with.
Very interesting thank you. Sounds like our top officials at answering to do.
So let me guess it is all Paul’s fault and the the amigos and Rich Calbi and the current VC had nothing to do with it. Hmmm, between this and the Developments and the garage is about time we flipped the board just like the BOE. But this is far far worse.
Oh my God . If this is not embarrassing to the village , what is . This is time for the village of Ridgewood to finally separate from the Ridgewood water company and make them a Sloan utility company. In the end this with hurt the town. So now what is the future. I think it’s time for a vote. From the taxpayers of the village of Ridgewood. We are the boss not them. Remember we bought it these people line we can vote them out. Especially anyone that’s been appointed.
If the suit was filed for the rate hikes in 2010 -2012, then I believe Paul Aronsohn was on the Council from 2008 joined by Albert and Gwenn In 2012. The three served til May 2016 and appointed the 6th council member ( actually manager) Roberta Sonenfeld. A lot of the blame for the current issues fall directly on their shoulders. Adios to the Three Amigos who left us in bad shape.
Roberta you new zip. And the people you listen to Controlled you like a puppet.
Hahaha. Yep. We wonder if you new that. ????
And we all know that see is still reading the big bad ass blog .
The important thing is that the residents of Ridgewood get screwed.
Any one that retired please do not come back and visit! No one needs to see You. No one cares!
Thanks .
