Glen Rock NJ, a serious two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Glen Avenue and Maple Avenue caused significant traffic gridlock throughout Glen Rock during Thursday’s evening rush hour on May 1.
Both drivers involved in the crash were transported to area hospitals by Glen Rock EMS for medical evaluation. Emergency responders arrived swiftly, including Glen Rock Police Department, Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department, Glen Rock EMS, and paramedics from The Valley Hospital.
The collision involved a Lincoln Town Car and a Toyota RAV4, both of which sustained heavy damage. A flatbed tow truck was called to remove the disabled vehicles from the scene.
Authorities have not yet released information on the cause of the accident or the conditions of those involved.
Motorists experienced severe delays across the borough as first responders secured the scene and cleared the wreckage. Commuters were advised to avoid the area as detours and cleanup operations continued into the evening.
Local officials thanked residents for their patience and praised the quick response of emergency crews in managing the incident during peak travel hours.
