Ridgewood NJ, There are many events taking place in the Central Business District during the summer months.
- Every Friday Night through August – The Ridgewood Guild sponsors musicians at various locations in the Central Business District
- The Kasschau Memorial Shell Concerts on Veteran’s Field – Sponsored by the Village of Ridgewood and various local businesses and groups – held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. through August 8th. Free admission, please bring a chair or blanket. The Senior Bus is available for transportation to several of these performances. Call 201/670-5500 ext. 203 for details. Front row lawn chairs are provided by Age Friendly Ridgewood for senior bus riders.
- The Farmer’s Market is open every Sunday through October 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot on the west side of the Train Station and is sponsored by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce. This truly is a small old fashioned Farmers’ Market – Come and meet the farmers who grow and sell the food, as well as picking up fresh mozzarella, jams, and artisan breads.
- July 21st and July 28th – The Ridgewood Guild sponsors Shakespeare in the Park Festival – 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square. Othello on July 21st and Romeo & Juliet on July 28th. There is no admission charge, please bring a chair or blanket.
- The Ridgewood Guild sponsors free Movies under the Stars at Sundown – Memorial Park at Van Neste Square. Please bring a chair or blanket.
- July 24th – Sleepless in Seattle
- August 7th – The Sixth Sense
- August 21st – E.T.
- Ridgewood’s Sidewalk Sale Days, sponsored by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce, will take place on August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rain or shine. Come to Ridgewood to shop for bargains, and then stay for lunch or dinner at one of our many restaurants.
- August 2nd – The Ridgewood Guild sponsors Art in the Park – Take a stroll in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square and enjoy music and artwork displayed by local artists. Art isfor sale, with proceeds benefiting the Ridgewood Guild.

Swim at Graydon Pool, everyday with the pool OPEN the parking lots OPEN and enough LIFEGUARDS so that the pool or portions of it do not have to be closed. SUMMER IS FOR SWIMMIN. I can shop and go to plays and concerts etc the other seasons of the year.
