Waldwick NJ, on August 23rd 2022 Cole McKeon son of a Ridgewood Police officer left us. Mr. Cannici, Cole McKeon’s principal of Crescent School, dedicated the Kindergarten walkway with a beautiful sign in honor of Cole. The Waldwick Mayor Tom Giordano, the Superintendent of Waldwick Schools, members of the Board of Education and close friends and family, came to celebrate our boys memory.

Thank you to the Crescent PTO for funding this wonderful sign that his friends and teachers can see daily and think about the happy times on that playground. Emily, Coles sister is headed to Crescent in September and what a treat that she will have a wonderful reminder of her brother for years to come.
In 2018 the Ridgewood blog reported that Stephanie and Kevin McKeon (Ridgewood Police officer)  had their world turned upside down with news that their son , Cole, has Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is a very fast moving cancer .

  1. Cole was a sweet and cheerful boy. God rest his soul. His pain is over. Prayers to the family
