Tenafly NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of JEFFREY D. GROSSMAN (DOB: 07/27/1958; married; teacher) of 71 Downey Drive, Tenafly, NJ on a charge of possession of child sexual abuse material. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
On Thursday, October 12, 2023, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of JEFFREY D. GROSSMAN during an Internet child sexual abuse material investigation. The investigation revealed that GROSSMAN used the Internet to view, download and possess items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children.
As a result of the investigation, JEFFREY D. GROSSMAN was arrested on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Tenafly, NJ and charged with second-degree possession of child pornography, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(b)5(b)ii. GROSSMAN was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Prosecutor Musella thanks the Tenafly Police Department for its assistance, as well as the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, which participate in the Bergen County Cyber Crimes Task Force.

I’m confused about something, can anybody please clarify? His name is still on the ballot for Tenafly Council President due to lack of time because they were apparently sent out in September, even though the timing of the investigation is just “too convenient”. ANYWAY, but what if he gets voted in? One might wonder “who would possibly vote for this guy after everything he’s done?” but given the social climate and pattern of unscrupulous behavior exhibited by the general population in the past few years, I would NOT put it past anyone to overlook even the most monumental defects from others. This might seem like an arbitrary question, but I do not know much about this stuff and I am super concerned about the current/future status of his government position, especially after everything he’s done. Please shed light on this topic, ANYBODY! thank you!
