It appears The Barclays will be in a decidedly New Jersey state of mind late in this decade.

A contract is in place to bring the first tournament of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup playoff series to three New Jersey-based courses for the years 2017-19, according to a multiple-sourced report from the Newark Star-Ledger.

Under terms of the contract, Liberty National Golf Club, which will host this year’s edition of the event, would again have the 2017 edition, followed by Ridgewood Country Club and Plainfield Country Club, each of which has played host to the tournament in previous years.
