That a Ridgewood High School student will be charged with making a written threat to kill 10 classmates before committing suicide. No students were harmed nor was the suspect. Because the suspect is a minor, police and school officials have been very reluctant to disclose complete details regarding the threat, and how it was going to be carried out.

In this day and age, any threat like this should be considered dangerous. Why wouldnt the High School and Police Dept communicate this to parents???

>its intelligent comments like these that have hurt the Blog. Last time I checked, this was a site for Village residents to get the “real story” on what was going on around town. Maybe you dopes can create a special blog for all the complaints from the intelligencia… you can complain about the cops, fire department, teachers, etc…. whomever else you target who makes more $ than you and who is actually appreciated by us taxpayers. >I want this site to be more than just a “what’s going on” place where we just accept what we’re told and live in this idealistic place where we naively believe that our public servants are all working honestly and hard. Unfortunately, we do see a fair number of boneheads on the blog who can barely write and go on about haircuts and washing police cards. I like the blog pretty much the way it is. I believe that because of the blog, the folks at the Village Hall might think twice now before enriching themselves, hiring friends and family, showing favoritism, etc. Yes, this stuff will still go on, but the blog is just another good tool to expose the bad guys.
