THE HEADSHOT IS THE NEW HANDSHAKE
If you thought only actors needed headshots think again.
Its
essential in today’s 21st century to look your best for employers
during a quick web search. Having a professional headshot that
presents the way you and your environment look now will help increase
your chances of finding work. Avoid using photos that include other
people , a couple of years old, or cellphone image.
The former comes
off as lazy; the latter can seem deceptive if your looks have
drastically changed since the picture was taken. Create consistency by
using the same style of photo for a number of social networks like
LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. They don’t all have to be the same
but they should all represent the same person.
