Glen Rock NJ, a Glen Rock fisherman is dealing with a tough “catch and release” story after returning home from a successful fishing trip last week, only to have their equipment and a high-end bicycle stolen from their front yard.
The incident, which occurred on Leone Court in Glen Rock, is currently under investigation by the Glen Rock Police Department.
Stolen: A Cannondale Bike and Four Fishing Poles
According to police, a resident reported the theft on the evening of Election Day. The resident’s son and three friends had returned from a fishing trip around 4:30 p.m.
The group temporarily left their belongings—including a bicycle and all their fishing equipment—at the top of the driveway, near the garage door. The stolen items included:

Four fishing poles

A tackle box filled with lures and bait
When the group returned “a short time later,” all the items were gone. The police estimate the total value of the stolen property to be $1,330.
Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Thieves
Glen Rock Police are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area of Leone Court last week to come forward. Driveway thefts, often targeting items left unsecured for short periods, are preventable but frustrating crimes that police aim to stop quickly.
