OPPORTUNITY beckons for Bergen County Republicans. Unlike last year, when Republicans were fighting merely to retain a minority of seats on the county Freeholder Board, the GOP can take control of the board by winning two open seats next Tuesday.
The Republican candidates are Robert Avery, a onetime Municipal Court judge in Ridgefield, and Bernadette Walsh, a former member of the Ridgewood Village Council.

So what ?? Just because they recognize that Brnadette loser from Ridgewood ??
You could not be more wrong, Dom. Bernie is aces, honest and dedicated. It was a HUGE loss for Ridgewood when she opted not to run for Council again. She is grace under pressure. Always came to meetings prepared, unlike certain sitting members who don’t bother to read their packets. And she never EVER let the bullies Albert and Paul intimidate her. I hope she wins BIG time. She certainly has MY vote.

I’m a democrat and fully support Bernie. I have attended many meetings in the Village and watched her in action. She is always prepared, does her homework, asks relevant questions, is respectful even when disagreeing and listens to people. I always thought Bernie had Ridgewood’s best interest at heart and she WILL get my vote.
