East Rutherford NJ, AMC’s The Walking Dead spinoff Dead City , formerly known as Isle of the Dead was filmed in New Jersey last year.
The post-apocalyptic horror drama had shoots at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, according to the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission per NJ Patch. Other filming locations are throughout North Jersey, NJ.com reported.
The series stars Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as fan-favorite characters Rick Grimes and Michonne. AMC says Lincoln and Guira’s reunion will show an “epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world.”
