Glen Rock NJ, at the September 13th, 2023, public meeting of the Mayor and Council, three members of the Glen Rock Police Department and one firefighter were honored with Commendation Certificates for exemplary actions taken during 2023.
Sgt. Mike Trover was presented with a commendation certificate from the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association for the arrest and apprehension of a hit-and-run driver who killed an 83-year-old Hawthorne woman on January 30th, 2023, along Lincoln Avenue.
P.O. Adam Pyatak, S.P.O. James Harte and Firefighter Ryan Jennings were honored with Glen Rock Police Department Commendation Certificates for their June 27th, 2023, rescue of an elderly woman from a submerged vehicle along a flooded roadway.
