Township of Washington NJ, Memorial Day 2025 weekend is here, and the Township of Washington warmly invites you to join our community as we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
This annual tradition brings our town together to reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day with a patriotic parade and solemn outdoor memorial ceremony.
Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony Details

🗓 Date: Monday, May 26, 2025

🕙 Time: Parade begins promptly at 10:00 AM

📍 Parade Route:

Starts at Clinton Avenue and Washington Avenue
-
Proceeds right onto Washington Avenue
-
Turns left onto Pascack Road
-
Ends in front of Town Hall at the Washington Memorial Monument

Immediately following the parade, join us for a special outdoor Memorial Day ceremony to honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation.
Traffic & Parking Advisory
To ensure the safety of participants and spectators:

Clinton Avenue will be closed to all traffic from Washington Avenue to Ell Road between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM.

No parking will be permitted in this area during that time.

Clinton Avenue will serve as the staging area for parade participants.

Residents requiring vehicle access are encouraged to park on nearby streets including McKinley, Jefferson, Mariann, and Leigh Terrace.
The Township of Washington Police Department will be on-site and working to minimize disruptions. If you have questions, please contact the Police Desk at 201-664-1140.
