Hawthorne NJ, Hawthorne Police responded to investigate a Thursday afternoon, 07/25, accident in which a tractor trailer hit and dislodged a traffic signal stanchion at the intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Wagaraw Road, Hawthorne. No injuries were reported. Traffic was diverted away from a portion of Lafayette Avenue until the device could be removed from on top of the trailer.
