Ridgewood NJ, this is the state  of Ridgewood Park and Ride on Route 17. As you can see trash is scattered everywhere . We are not sure if this is a Village issue , COACH Bus issue or Bergen County issue , but needless to say it is a disgraceful mess .

  1. I think the state owns the park and ride.

  2. Siobhan’s pricey garbage cans

    1. That trash wasn’t put there by squirrels! Squirrels have pride.

  3. Get kk on the case.
I see an opportunity for a photo op and big speech.

    1. It’s early yet but I think we have our post of the day.

    2. Clean this disgrace up before the new COSTCO opens please.

  4. NJDOT maintains the property.

  5. Since it’s called Ridgewood park and ride you would think the town would have some kind of concern about this and clean it up regardless. God knows the parks department is run poorly under Bigios. She should send some of the fat employees that text for hours on the lawn tractors at parks where they think no one is watching and have them help clean up Ridgewood park and ride. Have some pride Ridgewood employees. We pay you!!! Do something

  6. Well, if it’s New Jersey transit property, why are we putting village expensive garbage cans there that are too small. Who empties them the village or the state. And obviously we put the garbage cans there were responsible. So we suggest the town to put more garbage cans what do you want? The right is to tell if the garbage can is filled up with letter. New Jersey transit doesn’t like you to bring your letter on the bus. Who sweeps the Pokémon, who sold it, who plows it, who removes the snow, who does all the maintenance,

  7. The Truth can not be denied..perfect weather to complete an assigned task or job listing

  8. From Google AI:

    “AI Overview
The Ridgewood Park and Ride is owned by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). It is a facility for public transit users and is run by the NJ Transit and Coach USA. “

  9. Thank you for posting this It’s a shame that every morning me along with hundreds of other customers have to stand next to this pile of trash while we wait for our buses. With all the taxes we pay , we don’t deserve to be living in this filth. SOMEONE GET THE RIDGEWOOD MAYOR. Even if the state owns this. Ridgewood’s name is attached here.

    1. Agree. But that mayor doesn’t care he doesn’t take the bus. And Bigios doesn’t care. Her team is so mis managed she couldn’t get someone over there if she paid them triple. Bunch of losers Ridgewood head of departments are Clean up Ridgewood departments and trash.

  10. If it is the state responsibility then maybe they should constantly maintain it. Then why are we bringing two garbage cans there right?

    1. The very least the people managing Ridgewood ( who actually suck at their jobs) could make sure the people in charge of this garbage are aware But they don’t care it isn’t owned by the mayor and his posse

  11. garbage cans are way to small

  12. Can we get a picture of Jimmy Tedesco standing in front of the garbage…?

  13. Sort of a simple fix. Empty the cans.

  14. Nice to see people talking about the trash.
Nj transit and nj dot don’t do jack sh*t and if you are looking for the town to help out, good luck.

    1. NJDOT is worthless. I see perhaps one ‘worker’ doing something while 5 sit in the double cab dump truck and a bunch of other ‘shovel-leaners’ watch. Just count the dead deer rotting on the highways to make an opinion of why they don’t do much

  15. Ridgewood, press the issue with NJ DOT, the bus company, whoever, but run a truck over there and empty the trash. 15 minutes. Simple solution.

  16. Ok don”t send ridgewood police there. For now on call the state police. The village police and fire departments should stay away from RT 17, it’s the state’s responsibility.
