Ridgewood NJ, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew refused to answer Fox host Chris Wallace’s simple question : : How many people have signed up for Obamacare?
Wallace pressed the question , “I’m going to ask you one last time,” ,”because, forgive me sir, you haven’t answered it: do you not know how many people signed up, which would seem to indicate another major software glitch, or is it that the numbers are embarrassingly small?”
Lew stalled ,”Chris, our metric for this week was, could people get online, get the information they need to make an informed,” said Lew, sidestepping the straightforward question. “They have been getting that information. We are confident that they are gohttps://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/treasury-secretary-stonewalls-when-asked-how-many-have-signed-obamacare_759310.htmling to make the decision — they have 6 months to make the decision.”
The fact the US Treasury Secretary could not even come up with a simple answer in and age where webiste like Google analyze your every search and federal agencies like the NSA read all your emails seems a bit ridiculous .
The glitch plagued launch of Obamacare was initial blamed on high web traffic , then hackers but its becoming clearer that the whole system is flawed .
According to Forbes , Exchange agencies have walked back high-traffic hype .
“Other exchanges have had to pare down their initial statistics. Covered California, that state’s subsidized insurance exchange, initially claimed that its website had received 5 million hits on October 1. They later had to revise that number down 87 percent, to 645,000. KUSI-TV in San Diego is reporting that not one policy has yet been sold on the California exchange.”

Yahoo! News gets over 110,000,000 Estimated Unique Monthly Visitors according to some estimates 8.53% of all internet traffic and when the site crashes its major news .
As wee have seen the Hacker problem is more and issue of privacy concerns for both identity theft and political targeting from both the IRS and other government agencies . Given the recent IRS scandal of Tea Party Targeting and the NSA spying on all Americans these fears seem well founded .

I would ask detailed questions of someone in the HHS not the treasury department.
