On March 13, local officials officially unveiled the Tri-Boro shuttle, a free bus service that ferries commuters from the Ridgewood Train Station to several corporations in Montvale, Woodcliff Lake and Park Ridge.
Between pickups, which include a lunchtime route, the bus will be used to help seniors and the disabled. They can call 201-368-5955, which is printed on the side of the bus, for assistance.
Standing in front of one of the new buses delivered by the county, officials emphasized the service’s flexibility, saying they hoped to expand the two-bus, 16-passenger fleet if the need is there.
“I think it’s a home run,” said Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan.
