Wyckoff NJ, Wyckoff police apprehended two men last month for allegedly stealing used tires from a local business on Main Street.
The Incident
The arrests occurred around 10 p.m. on December 8 when Officer Kenneth Marcoux noticed a suspicious vehicle parked at the business. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that two men were loading their truck with used tires belonging to the business without authorization.
Arrest Details
The two suspects were taken into custody and brought to police headquarters.
Charges Filed
- Gonzalo F. Olivera, 23, of Elizabeth:
- Theft
- Receiving stolen property
- Hindering apprehension by providing a false name
- Possession of burglary tools
- Geovanni Hernandez, 26, of Hillside:
- Theft
- Receiving stolen property
Both men were transported to the Bergen County Correctional and Rehabilitation Center following their arrest.
