When combined with NJ toll road charges and commuter taxes, NJ’s total take for transport related expenses including gasoline taxes is already the second highest in the country after NY, so where is the money going? Has anyone in Trenton asked? Could it be $2.1 million/mile state roads when every other state in the nation can build for less than $700K/mile? Why isn’t Prieto questioning those costs, hmmm ?
