Is Paul Aronsohn Village councilmen a union shill?
In a recent letter to the Ridgewood News , Paul Aronsohn was called the ‘sole voice of reason’ but one look at past political contributors to Paul an it raises more questions than it answers and perhaps sheds some light as to the on going feud with Village manager Ken Gabbert. Readers wonder if Paul is really the sole voice of municipal unions not reason and continue to speculate as to his real political agenda.

Killion is the Union Buddy and he doesn’t need donations to be bought by the unions…..which makes him the best kind of Union Buddy.
Clearly with this financial backing, it is all about contracts! Why would the Carpenters Union or Plumbing union care about Ridgewood? They don’t; they care about getting contracts and work. Citizens are naive to think otherwise.
It’s time for the spending to stop here in the Village: the well is shrinking yet the mindset of Village employees is not to be creative but to suck the taxpayers dry! There is plenty of fat,if not a workers slow down in place.
The Village needs strident leadership to put aside special interests and focus on preserving what we have here. Focus on the basics first. We are at a crossroads –we need big picture decisions , not short term solutions to the pressures on our village. We seem to be losing our feel as a Village community with the attitude that if you cannot afford to be here to pay for the latest razzledazzle, then move out.
Why not Killion?
Why not Killion? That is a fair question. He and is the last standing council member who hired the worst Village Manager we have ever had in the Village. Keith was and is still aligned with the Police Union and he has friends and family working in the Police Department. He protects the Police Dept. and throws the residents under the bus when it comes to the Union Contracts. I could go on and if you would like me to I will………..
So what you’re saying is that Aronsohn and Killion are both in the same barrel?
Paul is far and away a better council member than Killian.
