the village should be paving more road’s then that because the d p w can not keep up with all the road work that need’s to be done in the village. some one said in the last council meeting that the street dept is down to (5) workers . they lost 16 workers in the past ( 7 ) at one time civil service records show that dept had 27 in 1990. how can 5 workers keep up. the mayor and council may not know or care, but the tax pay’er do care because they are not getting and seeing all the work that needs to be done. 43 years in the village and it’s very sad that the managers are not replacing workers. but in the fire and police the they do. it’s not right. at this time fema workers are filling in for all dept;s that are short in staff. real nice game they are playing. what is the village going to do now. pay out side people to help do the work. hire part time help and they don’t give a hoot and know anything about what need’s to be done. and at the end of the year who else is going to leave??????. the mayor must not know , or he just don;t car because he is trying to move to a high’er place??. and for the rest of the clowns they wish they never even got in to be a council member, half will not say it but that’s how it is. so you and i the tax people of the one time great village is going down the river. the town is so over ratted. the village we all loved. what happen well people spending money on things we did not need like land and homes and people steeling money from meters , in the end it all ads up. and yet we still have many workers who do care. but they need workers do do the work. my fell’o villagers wake up and talk to the top people and council it’s your money not at work.
