Ridgewood NJ, Everyone is invited to participate in the Visioning Workshop as we work together to create a new Village Master Plan.
The Master Plan is a comprehensive long-range plan intended to guide growth and development of our Village community. The Master Plan identifies and examines a wide range of physical issues including population, housing, land use, transportation, neighborhoods, community facilities, historic preservation, open space, natural resources, and more.
Stakeholder participation will help create a sound master plan to ensure the Village of Ridgewood remains a highly desirable community in which to live, work and play!

Sounds like a zombieing workshop, to which only the most mind-numbed will be welcomed. Visioning. What a pretentious, nakedly manufactured word. Like “wildscape”, another Ridgewood-promoted term that if there is a heaven above, will never catch on.
Agreed!! Town is going down the drain. So sad.
No doubt Schedler will be front & center, along with the $5 million boondoggle renovation of the Elks HQ building… all so Ridgewood Water can relocate to our CBD instead of the abundant Class A & B office space available in Bergen County… all so Knudsen can satisfy her quid pro quo with the Ridgewood Police who hired her two sons in exchange for more space in Village Hall after Ridgewood Water leaves. I’m sure the private shooting range for Ridgewood Police is also part of the new visioning, not to mention whatever the Council has planned for the old Town Garage and its toxic underground plume. Good governance and effective stewardship of taxpayer dollars in this Village is non existent, but this blog and others won’t mention it. At least they’ll go after the BOE and its mismanagement, but for whatever reason the Council and in particular Knudsen get a pass. Only James knows why!
