Ridgewood NJ, the US has confirmed 2 cases of SARS-CoV-2 caused by the Omicron variant of concern (VOC). The first case was confirmed by California state health and US CDC officials on the afternoon of December 1. That patient is a fully vaccinated (not boosted) teacher from San Francisco, who returned from a trip to South Africa on November 22 and tested positive on November 29. The patient’s symptoms were mild, and they are recovering at home. The second case was confirmed today in a fully vaccinated man who traveled to New York City to attend the Anime NYC 2021 convention at the Javits Center from November 19-21. That patient has since recovered. In both cases, officials are conducting contact tracing but have not yet identified linked cases. More Omicron cases likely will be confirmed in the US over the coming days, especially considering the second case—who did not travel outside of the US—indicates Omicron is spreading within the nation. Additionally, domestic viral sequencing has increased significantly since the start of the pandemic, increasing the likelihood that other cases will be identified.

A federal judge in Louisiana on November 30 temporarily halted enforcement of the Biden administration’s SARS-CoV-2 vaccine requirements for healthcare workers employed at institutions receiving Medicare or Medicaid funding, 1 of 3 court decisions this week that call for a freeze on vaccination rules as they make their way through the courts.

In a separate case, US District Judge Gregory Frederick Van Tatenhove of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky granted a preliminary injunction of the Biden administration’s vaccine requirements for employees of government contractors, which prevents the rule’s enforcement in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee while it makes its way through the courts.

More than half of voters are concerned that COVID-19 vaccines could have harmful side effects, and don’t think the federal government should have the power to make vaccination mandatory.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that 54% of Likely U.S. voters are concerned about the potential of harmful side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine, including 27% who are Very Concerned. Forty-four percent (44%) aren’t concerned about vaccine side effects, including 19% who are Not At All Concerned. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

  1. I didn’t particularly care about vax side effects until my best friend ended up in an emergency room with blood clots all over. After $70k in medical expenses he’s now on blood thinners with no idea how long he’ll have to stay on them. He had to quit sports, drinking and pretty much all fun things in life. And he can’t sue farma because they are legally immune from repercussions! Courtesy of paranoid US taxpayers.

Takeaway: go test yourselves continuously after injections. And keep in mind that some people can’t have a vax due to existing health conditions. Mandating them to vax anyway is pure fascism. Might as well put a yellow star on them.

  2. Federal mandates are unconstitutional. States have the power to enact their own mandates (if they choose to do so). Biden is part of the executive branch and he can only mandate vaccines for the employees of executive branch of the federal government. Not for the legislative branch, not for the judicial branch and certainly not for the states.

The Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution guarantees the right of the states to powers already not afforded to the federal government. The states are the checks and balance system against a totalitarian federal government.

Every governor decides to issue a mandate (or not to issue a mandate) for his respective state.

Biden and his administration are clearly violating the US Constitution as evidenced by the recent court decisions that are upholding the Constitution and rejecting Biden’s unlawful mandate.

Democrats are screaming that we had polio vaccines in elementary school!
We did but NOT because polio vaccines were federally mandated. It was each state (and some local school districts in each state) that had the power to decide on a mandate for the polio vaccine in elementary schools (in their state).

  3. It is becoming clearer by the day that the vaccine doesn’t work as promised especially for the new variants on which has almost no effect. Claiming a mandate for for something that doesn’t work is nonsense. Look at Israel with almost 100% vaccination rate and 3 + 4 boosters, hospitals full of sick patients while in the US we will be mandated to get the same vaccine, where is the logic in this? What are we protecting against? Those who want the boosters, by all means please get it but it should be voluntary. Something bigger is at play here otherwise it makes no sense at all. Omicron is probably the last gasp for Covid (many doctors shunned by MSM say that) after which it becomes so weak and turns into just another flu but NO, we still need boosters that nobody knows what’s inside and that FDA won’t release data about for another 55 years.
And then the kids. I can’t believe the parents that anxiously rush to get their 5 yr olds jabbed, are these people out of their mind? Are they considering what this could to them long term? These people seem like robots with pre programmed computer chips in place of brains?

  4. people who give their grade school aged children the jab are clinically insane, and there are some out there.
The chances of getting hit by a truck on the way to CVS to get the shot are greater than a child getting terminally ill from this bug. The country is under psychosis. Incredible.
