Westwood NJ, according to Westwood Mayor Ray Arroyo on Saturday June 14th, Westwood Councilmembers Cheryl Hodges, Beth Dell, Erin Collins, and I convened at Zion Lutheran Church and presented Certificates of Achievement to BSA Troop 350’s newly hatched Eagle Scouts: Eric Herzing, Mark Marinkovic, and Ean Ralston.
Representatives of the organizations benefiting from their Eagle projects spoke gratefully and glowingly of the boys’ work ethic and character. Whether collecting donations for children in foster care or creating sheltered safe spaces for rescued animals, the boys demonstrated empathy, compassion and a genuine commitment to service.
The Westwood Mayor and Council appreciates and applauds their meritorious achievement.
Congratulations to the boys, their parents, scout leaders, Mrs. Michelle Meisten and the Zion Lutheran Church community that has hosted Troop 350 for 30 of its 47 years (producing 132 Eagle Scouts!)
Arroyo said, “You have collectively raised fine young men, poised to make positive contributions to their communities and to our country. We are proud to represent each and every one of you.”

My favorite trip as a Boy Scout was to West Point to watch college football.
Congratulations- very impressive kids.
The country would be far better off if more youth participated in scouting.
