Teterboro NJ, The Moonachie Police are asking for the public’s help with an armed robbery in the parking lot at Teterboro Landing Thursday afternoon.
The Moonachie Police Department received a 911 telephone call of a robbery in progress in the parking lot of Costco at Teterboro Landing on Thursday, May 26 at approximately 4:30 p.m. According to Moonachie Police Sgt. Jeff Napolitano, Public Information Officer, reported were three black males who had robbed a woman at gunpoint stealing her purse and other personal items.
The men then fled in a black sedan with temporary registration tags on industrial Avenue toward Malcolm Avenue. The fleeing vehicle reportedly struck another vehicle while fleeing on Malcolm Avenue toward Route 17 South where they were last seen.
A black handgun was recovered at the scene and determined to be a BB gun and was taken in as evidence.
Moonachie detectives are currently reviewing video to determine the exact number of actors, descriptions, and possible suspect vehicle information.
