Mahwah NJ, Mahwah police are actively searching for suspects following a series of 28 car break-ins in the vicinity, which included parking lots at a minimum of four local hotels, as reported by News 12.
The perpetrators targeted vehicles, making off with wallets, cash, and electronic devices, according to the outlet.
Among the affected hotels were the Sheraton Crossroads located off Route 17 in Mahwah and the DoubleTree Hilton in the same town.
As of press time, there has been no response from a spokesperson for the Mahwah Sheraton.
