Ridgewood NJ, Gallup poll taken Sept. 14-28, more than 1,000 Americans were asked “to compare your situation today with what it was four years ago. Are you better off than you were four years ago or not?” Even after 7 months of COVID19 lock downs a whopping 56% said they are better off. Just under a third (32%) said they were not.
Yes, but they have been subject to 4 years of relentless propaganda by the MSM and it’s why people has basically lost their minds.
How is that possible when all the big blue state cities are apocalyptic war zones, based on my MSM consumption?

Yes I’m better off now than four years ago even with the coronavirus, and all the crazy Ness that’s going on in this world. And at times the media does not help, it’s a shame because they need the ratings desperately. Remember no one is buying newspapers anymore. That turned out to be a rag for the kitty box. Yes maybe Biden is a nice guy, Trump is a businessman, they are both cuckoo birds. But remember this in the end we need a president right now that has a set of balls which Trump has. And he’s a business guy. People feel confident in the economy with Trump not Biden. Trump needs to stop tweeting.

Last night’s town hall. Biden got another round of powder puff questions from Stephanopoulos, while Trump got interrogated by Guthrie. Look, I get it that Biden is the MSMs guy. But really, do you think Biden can really hold up to major global event decisions at 3am? I am fine with a Dem President. We get cycles of Presidents from both sides. I prefer Rs, but accept the Ds. I just think Biden is terrifying in his apparent state of dementia.
I am definately not better off than I was four years ago. Kids with STEM degrees from top programs with no job prospects, paying $8k more in taxes because I cant take write-offs, paid hours cut back because of Covid, etc. Trumps been rolling out his healthcare plan for years but we’ve yet to see it . . . . I don’t know anyone who is doing better

James – what Trump-specific changes/policies in the last 3-4 years have contributed to you being “better off”? The tax cut did very little for me, real estate and stock portfolios were already gaining in Obama’s second term (sure there was nowhere to go but up, but he did inherit a recession as you may have heard, and by the time Obama was out those gains were significant), and my corporate-supplied health care hasn’t changed materially.

This liberal argument that the media cuts both ways in their bias is absurd. Yes, there’s Fox, but that’s it for the Right. The Left has pretty much everything else, and not just the news stations, but more importantly today, social media. What we are currently seeing from Twitter and Facebook and their shutdown of anything to do with what appears to be a big case of financial and political corruption by the Bidens is outrageous.

My younger brother watches the BBC news station…..the only organization he could find with unbiased coverage of what’s going on in the US and the rest of the world.
