Ridgewood NJ, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, a hopeful for the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nomination, said recently, “We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great.” One-in-five Democrats agree, but a sizable majority of all voters thinks he was off-base.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 67% of Likely U.S. Voters disagree with Cuomo’s statement. Seventeen percent (17%) agree, while just as many (16%) are undecided.

‎ Bergen resident Jim Arakelian‎ however pointed out , “So. FOX went out to a NYC collage and asked a bunch of students – “has America ever been great”. Nine out of ten said no, not really. Let’s think about that for a minute. ”

He explains , “What do millennials know about America? Well, most were born in the early nineties, a time when America was doing pretty well and none really remember or were impacted by those good ole days of the nineties Then came grammar school the 9-11 attacks to start out the 2000’s. Now that was something they will never forget and not a very happy memory. Then the war in Iraq. Although perhaps not directly impacted, I’m sure they heard their parents talking about it at the dinner table. Then The Great Recession of 2008-2014. Watching their parents walk around like zombies worrying about making the monthly mortgage payments, paying off their credit card debt, putting crumbs away for their kids college all the while watching their folks sweat everyday about losing their jobs. Who didn’t have to comfort their child because someone they knew had a parent take their own life?

Millennials now are either finishing up college or starting the workplace and finally seeing what America can truly be, a great place to live. Let’s be understanding of them if they don’t just up and down love our country like we do. They never lived through a booming economy, low unemployment and a time when things were truly great. Millennials best lives are still ahead of them. Happy days are here again.”

Millennial are trained in college by leftist professors and TAs to think that America was never great. THAT’s the problem with their attitude.

They’ve also been trained that socialism is a wonderful thing by those same academics. Heaven help is all in ten years
