Ridgewood NJ, The striping of the parking spaces in the train station parking lot will take place tomorrow, June 22nd, from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 Noon. The train station parking lot will be closed during this time period, but as soon as the striping is finished, it will be opened.

OMG! I went over there to buy a train ticket a little while ago. It is so horribly ugly. They, the council, took away all the beauty by taking away the islands. Even after they plant shrubs by that THIN walkway, it will still be ugly, surrounded by concrete and cars. Did ya read the letter in the Record about Montclair, all the charm taken away be developments. That’s what the councils like to do, and certain vocal people; they point to what other communities are doing and say Ridgewood should do they same; well, Ridgewood did the same! The lack of aesthetic value, perception that went into taking away the beautiful greenery and trees. Well, I give up. I simply no longer consider myself a part of Ridgewood. They, the council turned the town into feces, swine feces at that. I mean I can’t get over what they did. BTW the New York Times had recent article on how towns are being destroyed by the almighty car. I guess the council read the article and wanted to copy how towns are being destroyed. No attempt at public shuttle buses to train stations and ride share cars etc. I mean I was really shocked.
The New York Times is of the opinion we should all live in apartment buildings with a proper amount of units allocated to low income and that cars should be illegal in order to save us all from global warming. They are not supporters of keeping Ridgewood a nice suburban town
Striping of all the roads in town. They look ridiculous. Why a double yellow on hillcrest??? Great idea engineer!!!!
All the horrible side street too. Looks like Hackensack…actually worse
Roads usually get re striped after complete repaving .
