Midland Park NJ, Midland Park Police Department report during the early morning hours of 7/1/19 2 residents had their vehicles stolen from their driveways. In both incidents the key fob and valuables were left in the vehicle. We also had 2 incidents of valuables stolen from vehicles that were left unlocked.
We ask that you do the following prior to parking your vehicle at night.
-lock your car doors.
-remove the key fob from the vehicle.
-remove all valuables or place them in the trunk.
If you see or hear anything suspicious during the night please call MPPD at 201-444-2300.

If you are COMPLETELY stupid enough to leave the key fob IN your car then when you wake up and your car is gone,
TOUGH CRAP. Your insurance company should be able to find you liable and deny any claim that follows.
