Mahwah NJ, Quick knock for Mahwah Fire Department with the second fire this week. All five companies, Mahwah Police, EMS,and mutual aid towns responded to assist us in extinguishing the fire at a condo complex in Company 4 zone. Firefighters from Waldwick, Wyckoff and Allendale rendered aid .
Waldwick NJ Volunteer Fire Department said Waldwick Rescue 642 responded to the second alarm structure fire in a condo complex off Forest Ave in Mahwah as a FAST team. Heavy fire was encountered by the first arriving MFD units who did an awesome job making the stop. The fire which eventually went to a third alarm was extinguished quickly.
Earlier this week all five Mahwah Companies, EMS, Mahwah Police, and many mutual aid towns finished their operations at a structure fire in Company 1 zone. Fire was quickly knocked and overhaul was started right after. All units cleared the scene within an hour and 15 minutes from initial dispatch.
Is it me or are there a lot of fires in Mahwah ?
