Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, according to the Ho-Ho-Kus Fire department , “This morning at 04:36 hours, the HHKFD was dispatched to Route 17 North in the area of Hollywood Ave for a reported truck fire. Responding units located an auto transport trailer on fire which appeared to have originated in the rear axle and extended to the lift equipment and at least two vehicles on board.”
“Members from Engine 733 quickly knocked the fire down with assistance from Engine 731. The HHKFD operated on scene for 53 minutes flowing approximately 1000 gallons of tank water.”
Route 17 was a mess in both directions this morning.
