Court upholds Healthcare Mandate Calls Obamacare a Tax

Ridgewood NJ , In a decision that has taken many by surprise the Supreme Court today upheld the insurance mandate in President Obama’s healthcare law, a stinging defeat for conservatives who had insisted the law is unconstitutional.
The court said Congress has the authority to enforce the healthcare law’s individual mandate, which will require most U.S. taxpayers to buy insurance or pay a penalty. Chief Justice John Roberts said the mandate could survive as a tax.
Just as the Mama Grizzly says, Obama lied, freedom died.
Repeal this law–it was deceptively sold to us. Now we know it was a tax increase on the middle class.
Oh, so it’s a tax now? In that case Obama can count another promise broken: no new taxes on those under $250k.
As for that traitorous scum Roberts, he’s another reminder of the Bush legacy. We need justices with a real understanding of limited government, not just limited government when it pleases you.
