Ridgewood NJ, Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco , “Today I joined Bergen County United Way and the Madeline Corporation to celebrate the opening of a “Ridgewood Commons,” a new housing development that will soon serve Bergen County residents with developmental disabilities. The 24-bedroom group home is located in the former Sealfon’s clothing store and offers the new residents access independent living right in the downtown of Ridgewood. The County of Bergen’s Community Development Office played a major role in the project, contributing $1 million in funds out of the $2.1 million budget. I would like to give a special thank you to Ridgewood Mayor Susan Knudsen and the Village Council for their support. I also want to thank all the project’s partners NJ HMFA, TD Bank, Columbia Bank, Valley National Bank, Onyx Equities, McGowan Construction, and the James Mazzo Family.

Wow…looks nice !
Did this just make the Sealfon’s building immune from property tax? How does it affect the rest of the apartment project there?
So majority of the development at Sealfons was paid for by the tax dollars and saraceno only paid 25k?
Very very interesting,
The arrogance of our unmasked mayor, front and center
why is Bigios there?
