Twp. of Washington NJ, according to Twp. of Washington police a Ridgewood driver was issued summonses for careless driving after she drove her Lexus into the back of a legally parked landscaping truck on Tuesday.
The Ridgewood driver, 76, struck the back of a mason-type dump truck on Tuesday on Hampshire Road in the Township of Washington.
When Township Police arrived on the scene, officers found an “unconscious/unresponsive” 37-year-old worker on the ground. The man was identified as an employee of a landscaping company working in the area.
The sedan’s driver remained on the scene and was cooperating with police involved in the investigation. The heavily damaged Lexus was impounded and removed from the crash site by a tow truck.
The victim was treated on the scene and taken to a Hackensack hospital. It’s currently unknown how the victim was injured . The crash is still being investigated, and Twp. of Washington Police are seeking additional information from the public into what exactly happened.

Speaking of leaves, the leaf pickup is going well….at least it is in my area.
In fact, they came a week early for the 2nd pickup. I’d rather have that issue as opposed to the pickup occurring later than promised.
Fingers are crossed that the 3rd pickup gets completed before the first snowfall.
I wonder if they’re working weekends like other municipalities.
