Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus Holiday Concerts Set for Dec. 18-19

Ridgewood NJ, Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus will present our Holiday 2021 concerts, with the theme Children’s Joy, on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m.

Location: First Presbyterian Church, 722 East Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450

COVID precautions: Proof of vaccination (for example, a CDC card or the NJ Docket app) AND masks will required for all audience members and performers. Anyone without vaccination proof or who is unwilling to wear a mask will be turned away. (Extra masks will be available at the door.)

Ticket options:

$20 in advance from any chorus member.

$21.99 online ($20 plus a $1.99 service charge).

$25 at the door ($20 for seniors and students over 18).

Watch at home (for the Sunday concert only): Orpheus recognizes that some patrons will not be comfortable returning to live performances due to COVID regardless of precautions being taken at the performance venue. For those patrons we are offering both a live streaming event and a pay-per-view event as an alternative. These are both ticketed events with suggested price of $15 ($18.12 with fees) each, with a sliding price scale for patrons of limited income. Please note that there is a small service charge associated with these events and payment is by credit card only.

Our guests will be choir students from Pascack Valley High School, directed by Mrs. Argine Safari.

Affirmation, text by Marcia Sloat, music by Richard Lane, arranged by John J. Palatucci.

Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, words and music by Johnny Marks, arranged by Mark Hayes.

You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch, lyrics by Dr. Seuss, music by Albert Hague, arranged by Jeff Funk.
