Missing Ridgewood Senior Citizen Found

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Police Department report that the missing person 86 year old female Sandra “Sandy” Chanoch has been found . She was reported missing after being last seen wearing a Black shirt and maroon pants leaving the Stable (259 north maple Avenue) at approximately 1100 am yesterday . Party has dementia.

Ridgewood NJ, Troop 7 Ridgewood will recognize three Boy Scouts that have achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle — Zack Boesch, Nick Galis and Kalyan Patel — on Saturday, June 11 at 2:00 pm at Upper Ridgewood Community Church. Eagle is the highest rank awarded by the Boy Scouts of America. Nationwide, over the last decade, about 8 percent of all Boy Scouts earned the Eagle rank.

Ridgewood NJ, several individuals were questioned by Ridgewood Police Department Patrol Officers late Thursday night regarding an incident in which the driver(s) of a vehicle(s) allegedly drove onto a baseball/softball diamond at Vets Field and performed “donuts.” Employees from the Village’s Parks Department were observed repairing the damaged infield this morning.

Northwest Bergen’s Best Known Beekeeper Comes to The Rescue of Ridgewood Home

Ridgewood NJ, Northwest Bergen’s best known beekeeper, Frank Mortimer, safely removes approximately 15,000 swarming honey bees from a tree located immediately adjacent to a public sidewalk in the 400 block of Stevens Avenue, Ridgewood, less than one (1) block away from an elementary school. To ensure pedestrian safety, Ridgewood Police Patrol Officer Christopher Mormino stood by at the scene keeping a safe distance while Frank Mortimer worked. The incident occurred early Thursday afternoon, 05/19.There were no reported injuries .
