Thank you Mayor Knudsen and The Ridgewood Department of Parks and Recreation for coming up with this idea and pushing to make it happen.

Graydon Pool is currently under lightning alert. The
premises is closed until further notice.
Are we that pathetic (or pliant or easily controlled) that we now need a “Recycling Coach App”?
Actually, these days you need a PhD to figure out what is recyclable and what is not…………………
Not complicated… Everything in the trash
I used to rely on my neighbor putting out her recycles to remind me to put out our recycles. She moved. I find the app very helpful, perhaps “coach” is a misnomer, it’s more of a reminder app. Either way it’s very helpful.
Also, great use of existing resources to update everyone on the status of Graydon.
It’s too bad that the VOR website is just not user friendly BUT in the meantime the recycling app is very helpful.
Every January I copy the recycling and garbage pickup days for my street as listed on the village calendar onto my regular calendar for the entire year.
The village calendar tells you what you need to know.
*unlike the horrible website*
