Ridgewood NJ, September 22nd was officially the first day of autumn, and nearly half of Americans are happy it’s here.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 49% of American Adults say the arrival of fall puts them in a better mood. Just 10% say they’re in a worse mood because fall is here, while 37% say the change of seasons has no impact on their mood. By comparison, in March 2018, 63% said the arrival of spring put them in a better mood. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

So….. a QUARTER of people say ONE of the FOUR seasons is their favorite.
WOW.
How unpredictable…
My thoughts, exactly.
Uh oh, Mister CAPS is getting work up again.
what is “getting work up” ?
Whoever wrote this post really needs to take a stats class. It’s called a uniform distribution and that 22% figure is rather expected…
All stats can be juked. 83% of people know this.
The fall season is nice nice to look at but the leaves are a pain in the ass.
The Fall season jumped the shark with the Advent of the pumpkin spice latte.
A bridge too far for individuals possessed of any remaining circulating milliliters of testosterone.
To my fellow residents you better go out and go by your rake, Limited hours on using leaf blowers, noise violations will be going out.
This “debate” is so silly.
If you actually take the time to look at the Village’s ordinances, all rules for landscaping and noise are for commercial use. Meaning all use of lawnmowers and leafblowers by privage companies are regulated, and that’s all.
So private(meaning my own personal leafblower or lawnmower) use is not regulated (aside from pissing off my neighbors).
So alarmist “THERE’RE COMING FOR MY LEAFBLOWER!!” posts are absolutely absurd.
(But, to be fair, no one who is b*****ng about this actually takes care of their own yard.)
