One poster on Facebook said ,”There is one at the intersection of Glen and Monroe- maybe they moved it?”

No sign should be purposely placed to distract drivers more than they are already except in extreme emergencies such as Do Not Drive Here Because It Is Flooded. Period.
They are not bulletin boards to be read while strolling through a hallway.
This is true for all signs not immediately related to driving directions or conditions.
Make them flash in color and watch the pileups. They are designed to make it impossible not to look at them and should be illegal.
