Ridgewood NJ, does anyone know what ever became of the Village’s electronic bulletin board that was mounted in this spot outside of the train station?

One poster on Facebook said ,”There is one at the intersection of Glen and Monroe- maybe they moved it?”

  1. Practical jokers moved it to the corner of W Glen and N Monroe weeks ago and programmed it to inform residents about fictitious water restrictions, which everyone thankfully ignored.

  2. I thought the department of transportation said that it was illegal, it was a distraction. Which is it?

  3. Who cares it was horrible

  4. No sign should be purposely placed to distract drivers more than they are already except in extreme emergencies such as Do Not Drive Here Because It Is Flooded. Period.

They are not bulletin boards to be read while strolling through a hallway.

This is true for all signs not immediately related to driving directions or conditions.

Make them flash in color and watch the pileups. They are designed to make it impossible not to look at them and should be illegal.

  5. It is being reprogrammed to show an AI image of Vagianos shaking his head most insincerely and saying “I understand.”

  6. It’s In KK ‘s Basement

  7. Samples are being taken to test for “toxic” messages.
